Emily’s Naughty Cat

Emily has many pets, e.g. dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, snails and goldfishes.  However, one of her cats Fifi, is very naughty. 

One day, while Emily was feeding the goldfishes, Fifi was standing at the back of Emily because she wanted to eat the fishes. 

When Emily left home, Fifi jumped up to the bowl of the goldfishes.  She pulled the bowl with her paws. First, she failed so she pulled it again and again.  Unluckily, the bowl fell down onto the floor and made a loud sound “Crash”.  The goldfishes jumped everywhere. Fifi was very scared.  She was worried that Emily would scold her hard. 

Suddenly, Emily came back. She found that the goldfish bowl was broken and the goldfish was dancing on the floor.  Emily was shocked and shouted, “Who does this?” Immediately, all the pets were looking at Fifi.  Fifi was very frightened and avoided looking at her master. 

Emily was very sad but she forgave her cat finally.  Fifi was very sorry for what she had done and decided not to be naughty again.

A Naughty Boy

One day, Tom was alone at home.  He was bored so he opened the cabinet and grabbed something to play.  He fetched a box of matches.  He was curious with the matches so he picked one and lit it. 

   He got more and more excited.  He took out all the matches and lit them all.  Suddenly, the curtain was burnt.  However, he thought that it was not a big matter. 

   Unfortunately, the fire grew bigger and bigger.  The whole room was on fire.  He was very scared but helpless.  Immediately, he called the firemen.  The firemen came in three minutes and put off the fire in half an hour.

   At last, his parents knew what had happened.  They scolded Tom seriously.  Tom regretted for his ignorance.  Since then, he has not been allowed to stay at home on his own.   

A Story about Chinese New Year

   Once upon a time, there was a beautiful village in which all the people were rich and living happily. However, one day, a monster came and everything was not the same.

   The magic performed by the monster made the villagers angry. Soon, the God of Heaven knew that.  So, he sent some angels to the village. 

   When the monster saw the angels, he was very scared and ran away as quickly as he could.  The angels killed him with some power and the monster disappeared forever. 

   At that moment, the villagers gave a lot of money to the angels.  The angels said, “Thank you, but I’m afraid I won’t take it because I don’t know how to spend it.” They continued, “How about you give some money to the poor in red packets?”

   From that time on, the people started to give red packets to their friends and relatives for blessing.
