A Detective Story – Part 1

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful place named Happy Village.  There lived Kiki, who was a tall and pretty girl.   

One day, it was Kiki’s friend Belinda’s birthday.  Kiki bought a gold necklace which was in unique design.  She put it inside her pocket.

On her way back home, she carelessly dropped it without knowing it.  Amy, who was the neighbor of Kiki, saw the necklace in the street.  She was very excited and picked it up happily.  She knew it belonged to Kiki, but she wanted to keep it herself.

When Kiki went home, she was shocked to find that the necklace had gone.  She ran around crazily….     

A Halloween Night

     On 31^st October, our family went to the Disneyland.  On the way to the theme park, we were very excited.  We rode on a number of game rides such as roller coaster and Ferris Wheel.  They were so thrilling!

     In the evening, we went to the hotel to take the buffet. After the meal, we went back to the park and visited the Ghost House. 

     We were very cheerful.  However, when we entered the Ghost House, we felt cold.  Suddenly, something dropped in front of us.  We were shocked but we guessed it was just rubbish.  When we walked closer, we saw an ugly and horrible ghost!  We were all very scared and screamed.  At that time, everyone was looking at us and said, “Oh, what are you doing?” They began to laugh at us.  We were very embarrassed.

     After the visit, we went back to the hotel and slept well because we were really tired.
